I just watched a couple of your reactions to some tough songs. I wanted to suggest a song that is more of a sweet love song. Sung by an artist with an amazing voice. This is country but a bit different sound than the others.

We reacted to the Keith Whitley version, may need to do Alison Krauss:

I’ve seen others recommend the Alison Krause version for you to watch, however, Keith was the original artist to perform this beautiful ballad. His voice has a twang that encompasses the love expressed in the lyrics. Whitley was underrated as a country singer when he was alive (1954-1989) , he recorded his version in 1988 and it was a number one hit on Billboard that year. Whitley’s version is included on CMT’s 100 Greatest
Love Songs. There is a live version of his performance that hits me in the feels every time I hear it.
My husband lip sang this to me at a work thing. All upper management did a lipsinging event for the company. Most did goofy songs like "I like that bass" Le. Went the other route and pulled me on stage to sing this to me.
I honestly don't know why people recommend this song when they want people to listen to Alison Krauss. If you want to highlight her pure tone and angelic voice - let her also showcase it on one of her original works.. like Paper Airplane - that song is gorgeous.

This is definitely one that you’ll want to watch with your wife. This song is an absolute treasure.
Best version of this is the radio edit they did where this was a duet with her and Keith Whitley

Alison Krauss doing this song it's fantastic she did a great job but I think you should listen to the original by Keith Whitley first.

When you hear Alison sing songs like this - it’s easy to figure out how she has won 27 Grammys
