Prince wrote the song in 1984 Chris did a beautiful, emotional version of it in 2015, while still with Soundgarden.

I always enjoyed this song, but when I heard this version it ripped my heart out. Sadly I didn't find it until after Chris passed, but his voice with the emotion of this song is one of my very favorite things.
