oh please, no! I'm a country fan, but this country song made even me cringe. The lyrics are heavy-handed, preachy and bland and formulaic. It's the kind of song that gives the country genre such a bad reputation, imo.
The first time I heard this song was at one of his shows and it legit made me cry. One part still gets to me every time "take that phone call from your momma and just talk away cause you'll never know how bad you wanna till you can't some day". Miss you mom.
Same here. My sister and I were very close. She was my best friend but she passed away in her sleep one night so there was never a last goodbye, or I love you so this song hits really hard but at the same time it makes you think.
