This song I completely can relate because this happened to me except it wasn't prom night or when I was 18. I was 16 and it was on the way home from the drive-inn movies and my date and now husband was driving slowly as I walked and he had to see me get hit by a car. Thankfully he was still there because it was a hit and run. I broke my back. left side hip, collar bone, left arm broken with bone out &my elbowleft leg in 3 places, broke nose, teeth knocked out in front to and bottom and jaw. I'm full of rods and pins on that side. I hope this gets votes because it's a related personal experience I would like to share because teens do get out and walk these days. I pray angels protect those that do. Sorry it's long but I'm new subscriber and love the family vibes on this channel.
