Martina is one of the best voices in country music. She has done a bunch of "issue" songs with great stories and messages. The video for this is good but if you want a live version you might try the one labelled A Broken Wing - Martina McBride 11/28/98. It was on CBS. The audio is pretty good on that one.

I have seen Martina McBride in concert 3 times and every time was absolutely amazing!! You must do the live version to fully appreciate her talent! She received the loudest and longest applause I’ve ever heard at a concert after singing this song at the 2010 CMA fest in the Titans stadium. It was such an awesome thing to be a part of and witness. Please do the live version, you won’t regret it!! I’ve listed 2 links for you because I have watched all of the available live versions and I truly believe this is her best performance. The 1st link has part of another beautiful song in it as well but Broken Wing starts at 2:41 and has her full performance as well as the earth shaking applause from the audience. I only included the 2nd link because the 1st video cuts off before you see Martina’s emotional response to how loud the applause is and she even comments that it is the loudest thing she has ever heard. I have seen her perform this song live 2 other times and both were unbelievably beautiful but there was something even more special about this performance!!! Hope you can react to it because I really love your reactions!!
