I wasn't a big Conway Twitty fan until I saw him in concert. He was sitting on a stool, alone in the stage with a rose projected behind him. I bawled like a baby. It was so beautiful.
It was The Legends of Country concert. It featured George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty. The thing that still hits me is Conway Twitty sitting there singing The Rose.
