Darrel "Dimebag" Abbott (guitar player) and his brother Vinne Paul Abbott (drummer) founded Pantera in Pantego / Arlington TX. Many years later Pantera broke up and Dimebag and Vinne started Damage Plan...Dimebag and several other people were killed in a nightclub in OH. Vinne Paul then helped start Hell Yeah until he passed away suddenly a few yrs later. So many of the Heavy metal bands look up to Dimebag and Vinne.
